History

Swedish institute of management (IFL) started its’ operations in Russia in 1994 by creating and developing the network of Russian regional training centers for top managers and owners of Russian companies. These activities were supported by Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA).

The network of training centers consisted of Russian regional institutes, consultancy companies and management training centers.

Swedish institute of management was training Russian teachers and consultants and was also transferring “DEVELOP YOUR BUSINESS” programme to Russia. This programme has a long and successful history in Sweden and is very popular among Scandinavian top-managers.

Supported by the Swedish institute of management Russian training centers started running “DEVELOP YOUR BUSINESS” programme in the following regions: Kaliningrad, Smolensk, Pskov, Nizhniy Novgorod, Obninsk, Saint-Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Vladimir, Penza, Saratov.

About 4000 top-managers and owners of Russian companies participated in “DEVELOP YOUR BUSINESS” programme – and this group is growing every day.

In 2007 a separate company - Swedish institute of management in Russia- was founded by IFL Entrepreneur AB and Russian regional training centers.

The Russian market is changing very quickly that’s why we widened the portfolio of products offered by Swedish institute of management. Now we are offering two more programmes – “FROM HIERARCHY TO PARTNERSHIP” and “EXECUTIVE TEAM TRAINING PROGRAMME.

We are running our open programmes under the brand of Swedish institute of management in Moscow region. We make decision about the place of our corporate programmes together with our clients.

History:

• 1968 – Swedish institute of management (IFL) created. Main objective of IFL – stimulate development of companies by training top-managers and owners.
• 1994 – Russian operations started. “DEVELOP YOUR BUSINESS” programme is having 4000 participants – successful Russian top-managers and owners of Russian companies!!!
• 2003 – IFL-Russia institution created. New programmes “FROM HIERARCHY TO PARTNERSHIP” and “EXECUTIVE TEAM TRAINING PROGRAMME” developed. Partnership with big Scandinavian companies on the Russian market started.
• 2005 – IFL and Stockholm School of Economics merged. IFL at Stockholm School of Economics created(www.ifl.se)
• 2007 – Swedish institute of management is registered in Russia as a Limited company.
